After a strong winning streak, the Texas A&M Men’s B Team defeated SFA 4-0 at home, securing its third victory of the season. The win was well deserved, as the Aggies controlled the pace of the game and showed a clear strategy from the opening whistle despite the rainy weather.
A&M came out with intensity, applying pressure, moving the ball with purpose and never let SFA settle into the game. The Aggies consistently pushed forward while making it difficult for the Jacks to build its attack. No. 23, No. 4 and No. 20 were among the standout players, helping the Aggies maintain possession and create opportunities in the attacking third.

SFA struggled to find space against the Aggies’ defensive pressure and had difficulty getting the ball into dangerous areas. The Maroon attack, meanwhile, continued to create opportunities around the box.
The breakthrough came when No. 23 found the back of the net with a shot from outside the area, giving the Aggies the lead 1-0 and setting the tone for the rest of the match.
Aggies continued building plays and attacking from the right wing, while SFA’s goalkeeper was forced to stay busy to keep his team within reach. The moment of desperation for the Jacks came when in an attempt to clear the ball, the shoulder from number 12 got in the way and scored a goal in his own net, 2-0.
The first half belonged to number 11, who was the heart of the midfield and was a transition player to the goal area, delivering accurate passes and dangerous crosses for the forwards.
Second Half
SFA tried to respond, but A&M’s pressure continued to disrupt their rhythm. At one point, SFA found an opportunity to move forward after an A&M defensive mistake, but the chance ended in an offside call. The Aggies quickly regained control.
The second half brought more of the same. A&M continued to press high and force SFA deeper into its own half. No. 10 showed his ability to beat defenders, dribbling between two players before getting forward and delivering a dangerous cross.
SFA’s goalkeeper became one of the busiest players on the field, making three important saves to prevent the deficit from growing. But the pressure eventually became too much. A&M’ number 4 found the back of the net again with an impressive header, extending the lead and forcing SFA into a more desperate, compact defensive shape.
As the game entered its final stages, SFA struggled to get out of its own half. The Aggies continued searching for another goal, Then came the final blow.
No. 23 delivered one of the plays of the match, racing to win the ball before sending a well placed pass toward No. 10. The attack developed quickly, with A&M moving toward goal and SFA unable to recover. No. 10 finished the opportunity, putting the Aggies ahead 4-0 and putting the result beyond doubt.
By the final whistle, Texas A&M had completely controlled the momentum. SFA’s chances never developed into sustained pressure, while the Aggies consistently created opportunities through.
